Why a Coptic Orthodox Podcast in English?
In a world saturated with information, we felt the need to create a space for:
-
Clear and faithful teaching rooted in the Coptic Orthodox tradition
-
Accessible theological reflection
-
Spiritual nourishment for daily life
-
A bridge between tradition and contemporary questions
The Voice of Saint Mark was born from a pastoral desire:
to make homilies available beyond the walls of the church,
to allow them to be heard again, meditated upon, and shared.
Our mission is simple:
To transmit the living faith of the Church with clarity, depth, and humility.

English Translations of Coptic Orthodox Homilies
In this section, you will find English translations of selected homilies originally delivered in French.
These translations aim to make the spiritual message accessible to a wider audience while preserving the theological depth and pastoral tone of the original preaching.

The Origins of The Voice of Saint Mark
The Voice of Saint Mark is rooted in a living history.
Originally, this title referred to a periodical written by Metropolitan Abba Marcos and Metropolitan Abba Athanatios, faithful witnesses of the Coptic Orthodox faith and devoted servants in its transmission.
Under the blessing of His Holiness Pope Abba Shenouda III, our two bishops founded the Diocese of Toulon and of All France, laying the foundations for a structured and missionary Coptic presence on French soil.
